The Garrison Church, Argyle Street The Rocks and Sergeants Mess – Thina Doukas

It was a brilliant day for the wedding of Stuart and Renee who wed on the 18^th September 2010.

We started of the day by heading to the Four Seasons Hotel on George Street, City of Sydney to greet the groom and his honoured groomsmen. Stuart looked relaxed and ready to celebrate the day with his family and friends. This was the beginning of one of the top weddings for 2010.

Next stop was the Observatory Hotel on Kent Street, City of Sydney. Renee had chosen an elegant hotel suite to prepare leading up to the wedding ceremony. She looked absolutely stylish and stunning! So too the bridesmaids looked amazing and wore beautiful dresses! Family and friends were present here to support Renee to the ceremony which was walking distance from the hotel.

The Wedding Church was held at The Garrison, at the Rocks which was on the corner of Argyle Street. The distance from the hotel made it easy for Renee and company to walk to the ceremony which  was an awesome spectacle. It reminded me of a wedding on the Greek Islands where walking to the church is normal and traditional.

There were 120 guests who witnessed the beautiful ceremony of Stuart and Renee. Family photos were taken at the park across from the Garrison.

The Location photos were taken at The Rocks and surrounding streets which suited the bridal party and theme for the day. Full credit to the boys and girls for being so welcoming and full of spirit on the photo shoot! Cheers Guys.

After the location photos, our partner photographer joined the bridal party on a harbour boat cruise around the Sydney Harbour to Chowder Bay where the reception was located.

The wedding venue was held at The Sergeants Mess, Chowder Bay. It was a fantastic celebration with a great band playing awesome themes.  The wedding was truly a celebration party and one for others to take note of.  Full credit to Stuart, Renee, bridal party, family and friends for making this day a memorable one to shoot!
